There are natural geological phenomena that, though very rare, do in fact occur with regularity.
Such events could disrupt the food supply chain, either locally, regionally, or an entire continent, or even globally, depending on the severity of the geologic event.
Will Wright, TFSS Chairman and geological expert, will discuss the most common of these events — Will’s dirty dozen. And with this motivation, he will discuss gardening for year-round production, and the advantages of knowing how to preserve food.
